Refund, Cancellation, and Suspension Policy

6.1 Refund Eligibility

InfrPool operates on a prepaid credit system. Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of the request:

Unused Credits

You may request a refund for unused credits if:

  • The credits were purchased within the last 14 days.
  • The credits have not been used for any inference requests.
  • Your account is in good standing (no suspensions, fraud flags, or pending disputes).

Partially Used Credits

If you have used some of the credits from a top-up, the unused portion may be refunded within 14 days of purchase, at InfrPool's discretion.

Non-Refundable

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Credits used for inference requests (consumed credits).
  • Signup bonus credits.
  • Expired credits.
  • Credits forfeited due to account termination or fraud.
  • Stripe transaction fees (these are non-refundable by Stripe).
  • Payout processing fees.

6.2 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us at:

Include the following information:

  • Your account email address.
  • The date and amount of the charge you are requesting a refund for.
  • The reason for the refund request.

Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days via the original payment method (Stripe). The refund amount will exclude any Stripe transaction fees originally incurred.

6.3 Cancellation

Auto-Charge Cancellation

You may disable auto-charge at any time through the dashboard (Billing > Auto-Charge settings). Disabling auto-charge takes effect immediately; no further automatic charges will be initiated.

Account Cancellation

You may cancel (delete) your account at any time through the dashboard (Settings > Delete Account). The process includes:

  • A 72-hour grace period during which you may cancel the deletion.
  • For consumer accounts with balance exceeding $1.00: a Stripe refund is attempted.
  • For supplier accounts with earnings exceeding $1.00: a final Tremendous payout is attempted.
  • Balances below $1.00 are forfeited upon account deletion.
  • After 72 hours, your account is permanently anonymized.

6.4 Suspension

Grounds for Suspension

Your account may be suspended if:

  • You violate the Terms of Service, Provider Terms, or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Fraudulent activity is detected.
  • A chargeback dispute is initiated.
  • Required by law or valid legal process.

Effect of Suspension

  • API access is revoked.
  • Supplier models are taken offline.
  • Pending earnings are frozen.
  • Wallet balance is frozen (no charges or payouts).
  • Dashboard access remains in read-only mode.

Refunds During Suspension

Refund requests are not processed while an account is suspended. If the suspension is resolved and your account is reinstated, you may then submit a refund request subject to the standard eligibility criteria.

6.5 Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or credit card company instead of requesting a refund through InfrPool, your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation.

Fraudulent chargebacks (disputing legitimate charges) constitute a violation of the Terms of Service and may result in permanent account termination and forfeiture of all wallet balance.
