Cookie Notice
Last Updated: 2026-04-20
9.1 Overview
This Cookie Notice explains how dotgear, inc ("InfrPool," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the InfrPool platform. We are committed to transparency about the technologies we use and their purpose.
InfrPool uses only essential cookies that are strictly necessary for the platform to function. We do not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
9.2 Cookies We Use
The following cookies and client-side storage mechanisms are used by InfrPool:
| Cookie / Token | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Firebase Auth ID Token | User authentication and session management | 1 hour (auto-refreshed) | Essential |
| Firebase Auth Refresh Token | Session persistence across browser restarts | Until logout or revocation | Essential |
9.3 Cookies We Do NOT Use
InfrPool does not use any of the following:
- Third-party tracking cookies: No tracking pixels, beacons, or third-party cookie-based tracking of any kind.
- Analytics cookies: No Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Hotjar, or any similar analytics tools.
- Advertising cookies: No ad-serving cookies, retargeting pixels, or conversion tracking.
- Cross-site tracking: No mechanisms that track your activity across different websites.
- Social media plugins: No social login widgets that set tracking cookies (our OAuth flow uses server-side redirects).
9.4 Cookie Consent
Because InfrPool uses only strictly necessary/essential cookies that are required for the platform to function, a cookie consent banner is not required under GDPR (Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive), CCPA, or equivalent regulations in most jurisdictions.
Essential cookies are exempt from consent requirements because the platform cannot function without user authentication. Without these cookies, you would not be able to log in or maintain a session.
If InfrPool introduces any non-essential cookies in the future (e.g., analytics), we will update this Cookie Notice, implement a cookie consent mechanism, and notify users before any non-essential cookies are deployed.
9.5 Managing Cookies and Contact
Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. However, if you block or delete the essential authentication cookies used by InfrPool, you will not be able to log in or use the platform.
Changes to This Cookie Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time. If we introduce any non-essential cookies, we will provide advance notice and updated consent mechanisms. Changes will be posted on the Platform with a revised date.
